Of course, if you look at the chart which tracks violence directed at abortion clinics, you’ll see that – tWrecks incredibly lame and dishonest attempt to paint any and all conservatives as those who would
“…bomb[] abortion clinics and take[] out bounties on doctors and nurses…” notwithstanding – there was MUCH more violence during those halcyon days when Clinton was in office.

In fact, this chart shows a truly disturbing surge in all types of violence and a sharp decline in arrests made outside clinics – during the Clinton years. Prior to Clinton, GHWB had thousands of protesters arrested but once Clinton took office…arrests declined and violence increased dramatically. Murders, attempted murders, arson, threats…all increased by leaps and bounds under Clinton.

Yet to you, this striking admission of Democrat failure to protect women, doctors and nurses is a “smackdown on the Republican[s]…”?

    How do you figure?

  2. Goodness me…

    who ordered the tendentious idiot?

Let me see if I take your point-
you’re saying that the huge uptick in anti-woman violence during the Clinton Administration was Clinton’s fault?

Sir, I believe you may have to clarify your position, as you are treading perilously close to appearing to be a complete fucking moron.

Blazing right through “treading perilously close” and jumping headlong right into fucking moron-ness, SpongeBob’s friend wants to know if I’m blaming the “huge uptick in anti-woman violence during the Clinton Administration” on – of all people! Clinton.

No, I’m not…but wouldn’t it make more sense that, y’know, blaming it on Republicans?

  4. I believe I owe you an apology.

Because I have no idea what you’re talking about, and I mistook what you were saying.

    Perhaps you could start over?

Of course there was more violence then, the conservatives didn’t have everyone’s favorite idiot man child in office with his kangaroo court and his ridiculous excuse for a legislature. With a man in office who supported women’s autonomy, the wingnut fringe had to resort to violence to get their point across. They eventually learned that, as previous revolutionaries found out, it’s far more effective to work from within the system than to take it on outright.

I, however, fail to see how you could glean this sort of subtext from:

“And all this comes from the people who swear they’re trying to Save the Babies™ by chiselling away at Roe v. Wade, and if that doesn’t work, by bombing abortion clinics and taking out bounties on nurses and physicians who work in clinics that perform abortions.”

(That’s a quote from his actual post, in case you didn’t recognize it.)

Thing is, since 1973 the anti-woman brigade has been frantically chiselling at Roe v. Wade everywhere and anywhere they can. When the opportunity for that ran out in 1992 with the election of a Democrat, they resorted to violence, threats and terrorism to get their point across. The Conservative Movement today is made up of these same anti-choice individuals who support terror in their quest to end women’s autonomy.
