Look, folks, stop beating your head against the door jamb every time the President says nuKUlar. It’s not a stupid affectation and he’s not mispronouncing the word. Think about all the US leaders that have said nuKUlar over the years- Ronald Reagan, Trent Lott, Jesse Helms, W, Strom Thurmond….
What you’re missing is that Republicans have created a new, secret kind of energy generated from atomic particles- clearly these are two different technologies. Listen to what they say about it.
Republicans have a secret resource that they have been alluding to for the last half a century- nuKular energy: safe, clean, good for the environment, creates jobs, etc. Also, nuKUlar weapons make the world a safer place and are a sound investment of tax money and contribute to our national security, the national security of Israel and have kept the Red Horde from overrunning Western Europe for 50 years.
Nuclear energy, on the other hand, as we are well aware, poisons ground water, makes these totally uninhabitable silos that will be dead zones for 10,000 years, causes cancer, costs millions (billions?) in upkeep, and is a total money hole. Plus nuclear weapons are a curse upon humanity and if your idea of national security is stockpiling weapons that would give radiation sickness to every child on the planet, then you’d clearly be psychotic, thank you for playing.
See- two different things. NuKUlar and nuCLEar. Our President isn’t a faux bumpkin after all. He’s a genius with a whole secret energy plan that is going to haul us into the 21st Century.
